
The conditions and procedure for admission to the service in the bodies and institutions of the penitentiary system of the Republic of Belarus are determined by the Regulations on serving in the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Belarus, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of March 15, 2012 No. 133 "On issues of serving in the internal affairs agencies of the Republic of Belarus "(Hereinafter - the Regulations).
In accordance with clause 5 of the Regulations, citizens of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as citizens) who are assigned special ranks in the prescribed manner are employees of the internal affairs bodies. In accordance with clause 16 of the Regulations for service under the contract for service, adult citizens are accepted on a voluntary basis who are capable of fulfilling the tasks entrusted to the internal affairs bodies in terms of their personal, moral and business qualities, health condition, level of basic education.
At the positions of private and commanding (junior, middle and senior) of the composition of the citizens are accepted, as a rule, not older
25 years. Citizens over
25 years, if by the day they reach the age limit in the service they will be entitled to a retirement pension.
In accordance with clause 20 of the Regulations, citizens cannot be accepted for service in the following cases:
20.1. committing an earlier crime;
20.2. non-compliance with the requirements of paragraphs 16, 25
and 26
of this Regulation;
20.3. recognizing them as incapable or partially capable by a court decision that has entered into legal force;
20.4. refusal to undergo a special inspection or the procedure for obtaining admission to state secrets;
20.5. refusal to submit income and property declarations or deliberate submission of incomplete or inaccurate information to them;
20.6. the presence of a disease confirmed by the conclusion of the military medical commission or other contraindications that impede the performance of their duties.
The issue of recruitment is in the competence of the heads of the territorial internal affairs agencies, who decide on the basis of the results of the military medical commission, the preliminary study of candidates, their personal, moral and business qualities, special verification data and a number of other circumstances.
Training of specialists in the interests of the Department for the Execution of Punishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the appointment of middle and senior commanders is currently carried out at the penitentiary department of the educational institution “Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus”, the educational institution “Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus” and at the military department educational institutions «Grodno State University. Y. Kupala ”in the specialty“ Logistics support for the troops (food) ”.
To become a cadet, you need:
1. Until April 15, file an application for admission to an educational institution for registration of a personal file with the recruitment department of an institution located at the place of residence.
2. Submit to the recruitment department, which draws up the personal file of the applicant, the documents established by the procedure for admission to an educational institution and pass a professional selection in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
3. In the direction of the component body to undergo a medical examination and psycho-physiological examination in the military-medical commission in the prescribed manner.
4. In the terms established by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, undergo a centralized testing according to the Procedure for admission.
5. In the terms established by the Order of admission, personally arrive at the educational institution, having with him the documents established by the Procedure of admission.
6. Term of higher education is 4 years.
