Disk separators are intended for work as a part of a complex on peat processing, production of granules and briquettes, also for division of finished goods into fractions and for separation of sub-standard products from qualitative.
The disk separator consists of the frame made of a steel profile with the milled plates welded on it on which bolted connections bearing blocks fasten. In bearing blocks shaft with disks are set. Raw materials move on the disk separator on top. The small fraction of raw materials passes through gaps between the rotating disks and is unloaded from below. Large fractions of raw materials and foreign objects do not pass through disks and due to rotation of disks on their surface move to the place of unloading.
